Can you externalize examples files and access them in a similar fashion to libraries?

There are some generically defined types we are using but we want unique examples for them based on the response type.

 

We could do all the examples in the API but I was wondering if there was a way to externalize them similar to a library.

 

Basically an examples file that can be imported via exchange and referenced similar to a library

    Hi,

     

    Yes that can be done.

    You just need to create an API Fragment for example and add that in the API specification where you want to use it.

     

    Go to Design Center -> Create New -> API Specification -> Select the Fragment Type as Example and give it a name -> Insert the Input you need and publish it to exchange -> Go to the API Specification and add dependency.
