Has anyone successfully ingested Account records along with their attached files into Data Cloud from CRM? I’m exploring this because I want to ingest Account records while preserving the mapping between Accounts and their attached files, ensuring they are stored under the same DMO. My goal is to create a search index and retriever, which I can then leverage in AgentForce. Ideally, this would enable my agent to reference the attached files when an end user asks about a specific Account record, allowing it to generate responses based on that information.
@Geetharanjini Sundaramurthy The data stream needs to be refreshed first, followed by the search index, so it’s not close to real-time. Instead, we implemented a workaround.
Prompt Templates can read files uploaded in Salesforce, so we created an Agent Action that retrieves files attached to a record and passes them to the Prompt Template. The only limitation with this approach is that you can pass a maximum of five files at a time. However, this method works in real-time. There is an additional total file size limit as well, you will have to explore the workarounds for your specific use case.
