I have a new custom object. I wish to embed the Chatter field as a tab. I have enabled the feed tracking for the custom object and I can see the chatter tab on my Lightening App Builder. When I activate and look at the actual record, it does not match what I've saved and activated.
There is only one page layout for the new object, and it has been activated for all users and account types.

Have you save and activate "Assign As Org Default" for the Lightning Record page. the Lightning record page viewed by admin or any other Users? if its specific group of users Check the chatter object permission for those users.
