We are a team working in the education sector, specifically in continuing education, where we manage a series of high-volume commercial and financial processes related to enrollments and admissions. The types of programs we offer include those that require an admission process and those that don’t, catering to both individuals and companies enrolling their employees (B2C and B2B models).

Our inquiry is focused on finding out if there are any successful implementations of Salesforce Education Cloud connected to E-commerce platforms. Given the high volume of our offerings and enrollments, our business model leans towards using such platforms. We are particularly interested in knowing if there are any use cases where platforms like Shopify have been integrated.

Additionally, it would be extremely helpful to learn about the challenges or risks that were encountered during the implementation of this infrastructure.

We are considering modeling the entire architecture based on a middleware solution that connects Shopify, Salesforce, and other systems.
