I am trying to do a global search using my client contact/account ids however, when I complete the search, nothing is returning.
Is there a setting that needs to be turned on somewhere in the backend?

Hi,
You have to search with the Contact/Account name, not with the ID. If you want to open the record with any specific ID then open any random record and replace the id with the desired id.
