how to display rows more than 50000 on a VF page that too in editable mode?

Question

how to display rows more than 50000 on a VF page which is related to an object ,that too in an editable mode not just @READONLY, i mean.. users should be able to edit the fields and enter the values in them?

answers and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

It should be possible by using JQgrid in Apex with @RemoteActions
