canvas quick start advanced tutorial dead end

Question

I'm just following the instructions on and got stuck on the "Run the Web App locally" item under "Quick Start-Advanced". at point 6 it says that when I call up the URL the web app should see With the addition: 'Depending on your browser and security settings, you might need to add a security exception because you're running a site with an unsigned SSL certificate. And this is exactly the problem with me. How can I add such an exception to my browser (Chrome, Edge or IE)? Nowhere do I find a solution for this problem. Here are some screenshots:
