I cannot find a way to find out who viewed or downloaded a specific file attached to an opportunity. When you go to the opportunity record page, there's a Files related list where you can view the Files details. It shows the # of views and Downloads under the File Engagement component. I'm trying to find out which users viewed or download a file.
Files and Content report do not show this data. As a matter of fact it seems like it doesn't show any file attached to any object. It only shows files uploaded through chatter.
Has anyone had any luck with finding out this information somewhere or through SOQL?
Actually.. That report works. There's a few things I noticed:
1. Add certain fields will not make the correct record show up. For example, if I add in the "Link Last Accessed Date" field, the file I'm looking for disappears.
2. There's a bug when creating the report and running it. Steps to replicate:
- Create File and Content Report.
- Click run. This shows the report as empty.
- If you click Save & Run or Save and then run, the report works.
