We would like to share that effective February 2024, MuleSoft will be adopting the industry-standard use of the Long-Term-Support (LTS) release cadence for Java. In addition to modernizing our stack, this decision comes in response to the discontinuation of support for Java 8 by many third-party vendors, which will have an impact on the MuleSoft product stack. Adopting this new release cadence will provide greater security, compliance, and performance for our customers and aligns with our core values of Customer Success and Trust.
As a result, we want to give you advance notice to start planning for upgrades of your apps, policies, and proxies from Java 8 to Java 17.
