What are some methods you recommend for more complex reporting? Is it better to use the Deverloper Console to write complex queries with joins, etc.? Or can Report Types and Cross Joined Filters be used effectively? Once the data is retrieved is there a way to export to Excel/Sheets or some other tool aside from Exporting from a list?

Both of these resources are very useful. Thanks so much for the replies. I am just getting started in building out reports for the org and this information will be helpful in getting some initial reports done. It looks like I can do quite a bit without having to use SOQL at this point. #Reports & Dashboards #Business Analysis
