Our services business, which works with thousands of Cases per day, is looking for a way to better utilize reports and dashboards. Their specific request is to see if Cases can be grouped by quarter or other larger metrics to help eliminate the need for a large or unreadable chart.
I've attached a sample of what they are looking for. I know that the standard reports and dashboards aren't able to do this, but was wondering if anyone know of any good AppExchange apps or other solutions that might help?

I think calendar quarter is an option for grouping dates. I've done a row level formula to group the same date field 2 different ways, such as by calendar month and calendar year..
