Generate many orders based on Asset Serial numbers

Hello,

 

Sometimes we need to ship extra components, therefore we would like to find a easy way to make orders for assets.

 

Every asset has a Serial Numbers, adresses everything is need, but how do create a new Order. I have been looking at API -> order -> create() function and the data importer. What is the "best way"?

    Lets say i have a product that needs an extra bracket.

     

    I have the serial numbers of each. As it is now, we have to create a new function like the button.

    We wish to generate an order for a lot of similar assets, basically automate the button.

    does it make sense?
