Summary: I would like the close date field (on opportunity object) to automatically update if a project is closed early.
For example, in the below screenshot, when the project is set “Phase 100 – Sold” can the close date automatically change to the date the project is set to Phase 100?
When I run my month end report I use close date top see what projects closed in the month.
Here is a screen shot. The project was set to Phase 100 in January 2022. I missed the closing in my report because the close date was still set at 4/7/21. I have the same project if a project closes early.

This would be a relatively simple Record Triggered Flow, your Trigger could be as simple as
IsWon equals {!$GlobalConstant.True}
or
Opportunity.StageName equals 'Phase 100 – Sold'
(you don't need to do both, this screenshot is just an example)
