I have encountered this issue through several modules now but I don't have the drop-downs asked for the model when making new users in my playground. User licenses I can get "Salesforce Platform" and then the only profile available from that is "Standard Platform User". I am trying to get the dropdowns "Salesforce" and then "Minimum Access - Salesforce" but they are not options when creating new users.
@Brittany Scott I would have to agree with @Michael Brown—when I go into one of my Playgrounds that I used for the Administrator Study guide Trailmix, I can only have (2) users in this dev-ed that have "Salesforce" and "Minimum Access" or "Standard User", which looks like this:
Otherwise, if I have more than (2) users with this license, these are my only options:
