Hi there!   I'm fairly new to SF NPSP, and need a little help getting started.  I'd like to create a customized field w/a pick list for my imported leads/contacts.  Specifically, my leads are generally individuals that are program partner prospects, and they all vary in level of recruitment/registration.  Another batch of my leads will be corporate development prospects.  My goal would be to create a searchable field to all leads/contacts that would allow me to to run reports, send batched emails, create rules, etc....   I've tried creating custom objects/types (pick list, multi-pick list...) using articles I found off Trailhead, but cannot seem to figure out how to actually configure these fields into the leads/contacts themselves.  I do not have any coding background.  Might someone be able to point me in to some resources?   Thank you in advance for your help!
