I have an issue with customizable roll ups that I cannot solve. My client wants to be able to track household hard credits and donor advised funds separately and yet roll everything up to the household accounts. So, I am trying to create separate fields - eg "total giving" and "household DAF giving" - which can be added together for a "total household giving".
I customized the roll up field "total giving" to roll up hard credits on accounts and excluded the contact role 'DAF donor' using a filter group. However, these donations are still be totaled under the contacts' household "total giving" even when the contact role is assigned as "DAF Donor." I have also tried removing the contact as the primary contact of these donations, but they are still being counted.
Does anyone know how to create a roll up field that will operate on donations using only the 'account' field and disregard the primary contact and contact roles? Or any other solution?
