I'm trying to find a way to integrate Quickbooks to Salesforce. Are there means of doing this automatically, or will it need to be done manually every so often? Thank you!

I've just been looking into that. There seem to be a number of different connectors available, including an official Intuit connector. The not-very-informative page on that is here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/salesforce/salesforce-integration-quickbooks/
