How can I customize Enhanced Recurring Donations entry form (RD2_EntryForm)

The New and Edit buttons for Enhanced Recurring Donations opens a lightning component called RD2_EntryForm. I want to add a custom field onto this form and then use Recurring Donation Custom Field Mapping to populate the same field on Opportunities. How can I edit this form? And does Custom Field Mapping still work with Enhanced Recurring Donations?

    So the article linked no longer exists. I mapped the custom fields as directed but it still isn't showing up when I go to add it on the new recurring gift form. Any ideas?
