creating notification alert through Workflow

Hello ,

 

There are some Notification/Email Alerts. Need Suggestions--

 

1.I need to create a workflow, as whenever the Lead Status is not moved from Outbound Lead Status to New Lead Status. it will notify the specific IS Rep, who has not changed the Lead Status.

 

Can anybody suggest what should be the Criteria or I have to build a formula for this.If this is possible through Formula, what should be the condition.

 

2.Notify the IS Rep and Manager, if the user doesn’t “Log a Call/Create a Task” after changing the Lead Status.This also am not getting how to do, if through workflow what should be the criteria and if possible through formula, what should be the formula.

 

Any suggestion would be Appreciable!!

    Hi Indranee,

     

    For Question #1, choose formula and write something like this:

    AND(
    PRIORVALUE( Status ) = "Outbound",
    TEXT(Status) = "New")

     

    For Question #2, workflow doesn't have the ability to track any changes from the related record. I recommend using custom coding for this.
