Need help with email alerts!

Question

Hello all,

I am trying to create an email alert/workflow rule that allows for an email to be notified when new accounts are created.

I already have the email alert/template. Just don't know if I need to assign to a Workflow rule/process. I've never created a workflow rule either so any specifics would be great, thanks! Need help with email alerts!

Hi there,   Please follow the below steps -  From Setup | Create | Workflow & Approvals, then select Workflow Rules. Select the workflow rule that you want to add the action to. Click Edit. Click Add Workflow Action | Select Existing Action. Select the type of action that you want to add. Move the appropriate actions from Available Actions to Selected Actions by selecting them and clicking the left arrow. Click Save. Click Done. Best,   Shubham
