Is it possible to create an alert that when someone exports a report containing Contacts

I am loking for some direction - I want to prevent Users creating and exporting reports without them checking that the Contact has agreed to being contacted.

 

I wondered if I could create a text box that appears when a report is created that contains Contacts

 

Any links to documentation would be great or general advice how others have tackled this issue

    Hi Angela,

    Right now there is nothing on salesforce which can let you set an email alert or a notification for report export.

    You can use (https://salesforce-elf.herokuapp.com) to find the export report details, but it will only give you the last 24-hour details. Simply go to the link then sign in using your production or sandbox credentials. Select event type as "export report".

    If you are looking out for previous 6 months or 1-year data you have to talk to Salesforce support, they'll be able to provide you with the data but it is paid.
