Formula to compare date entered to specific dates

Hi, I can find LOTS of help on formulas to compare a date entered to 'TODAY' or '30 Days From Today', but how do I create a formula to compare the date entered to a list of specific dates? Pref a list of concatenated dates, like a CONTAINS or CASE situation, as they are run-on dates, but need to include Day, Month & Year. 

 

I want to set a custom field to pop up with a warning image if Date A (a formula field) falls during the Xmas break and have successfully created the image part of it, but can't work out the correct formula to tell the image to appear.

    Will the formula field with data type text and IF conditions help you ?

     

     

    IF( Move_In_Date__c = DATE( 2017, 3, 31 ) , IMAGE("servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=015i000000AYHjz", "Hola") , 
    IF( Move_In_Date__c = DATE( 2017, 12, 25 ) , IMAGE("servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=015i0000001omWv", "Hola1"), 
    "Hola3" 
    ) 
    )
    • Replace the "Move_In_Date__c" with your date fields
    • Replace the imapge URLs with your stored image urls
    • Replace the Date with your desired dates DATE (YYYY,MM,DD)
    • Replace "Hola1","Hola2", "Hola3" with some random text of your choice
    • You can add multiple if conditions to this formula
