Hi All,

We're trying to get a count of how many accounts we have assigned to our salesreps but the problem we have is 1 actual account may have 3 account records (we do not have parent accounts set up yet).

  • Account record 1: ABC will have customer number 123 and warehouse 1.
  • Account record 2: ABC will have customer number 123 and warehouse 2.
  • Account record 3: ABC will have customer number 123 and warehouse 3

Some accounts only have 1 record, and some may have up to 6 but all with the same record number.  Essentially, we want a count of unique customer numbers.  Thoughts?

Yes, customer number is a field on the accounts and yes they match the exact same for multiple records.  We grouped by customer number, but the subtotals add up the number of each account ie acct1 : warehouse1, acc1 : warehouse 2, acc1 : warehouse 3, counts as 3 in the report, but we want it to only count as 1.
