In the Salesforce sandbox environments only, is there a way to bypass or turn off the verification process for a user?

This really shouldn't be an issue for sandbox. Below is an example of a user's identity verification prompt.

It seems the only way to allow a user to verify their account is to have their sandbox account updated to reflect that of their real email, otherwise if a fake email is used for their sandbox account, the verification email will never be accessible. If this was production, we could bypass the verification by email by putting in a cell phone number on the user account and go from there.

I've had this same issue across multiple client Sandboxes. It's really annoying when asking clients to log into their newly refreshed Sandbox. I have to fix all of their email addresses manually first and then instruct them to click the link in the email address change verification message before they can attempt to log into verify their identify. Lots of steps for users to go through. I certainly don't want to de-activate that feature in production, and I can't wait days for Salesforce to disable verification in the Sandbox (assuming they can even do that). Next time I'll have to try the Chrome Extension that @Till referred to in the blog post https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/whitelist-all-ips-for-sal/nnlnikmkkbpgioojghgojoejgcheilic
