Hi,

I had setup the lightening for outlook and the lightening sync configs for contacts as 'Sync in both Directions', Salesforce always wins.

But a week after, i noticed that it has created lot of duplicate contacts in salesforce and in Outlook randomly and at random timings. I believe, the 'Sync in both direction' could have caused some issue when trying to may and could have created duplicates for the same record when synching few times.

I am thinking to change the config to ' Sync from Salesforc to Outlook' and 'Salesforce always wins' . to test if this doesnt create any duplicates.

Before that, I would want to empty(delete) all contacts in the outlook 'salesforce_sync' folder so that it doesnt try to sync them all again.

How can i empty the salesforce_sync folder in outlook ?  Is it best to refresh the sandbox , so all the duplicates are deleted and the lightenng for sandbox sync is set up freshly?

Also , which is the best Sync config for syncting Contacts and Events ?

Pls advice?

Are you using salesforce for outlook at same time?  Remind to use LFO you need to uninstall and delete all SFO
