I have a couple of question regarding maintenance exam. It will be really helpful if someone help me on this.
1. Time allotted for Salesforce certified administrator maintenance exam?
2. Do I need to schedule the date same as the certification exam before appearing in Maintenace exam?

Hi Preyanka,
After completing your Salesforce exam, and when the next release is out (for example, if you completed your exam during Summer 16,, you will get a Release Exam notification when Winter 17 is out), you will get an email to complete a Release exam, just like the below email (not that this was received on Oct. 31, just when Winter 17 was out). The email will contain all the info needed.
After getting this email, the exam will appear on your webassessor accout (under Administration and App Builder in my case), with a FREE registration fee:
Click on Register to register for the exam. There is no schedule specified, you just register the exam and it will become available for you to take. You can take the exam for a total of 3 time, each time requires a new registration.
Regarding the Time allotted, please note that Release exams are 30-minute online and non-proctored exams that you can take at your convenience.
