However when I go to use the source report as a table component I get an error message:-
I would like then to show this list on the home page.
any ideas on what is wrong with it?

Yes Glenn Change it to a summary report so u can group it by the foldder name and then use that report in a dashboard with a table component U shud then get wt u looking for
