Salesforce (queue) tells me that my leads were successfully imported, but when I look at leads, I see nothing there. why?

I've been working on importing leads into salesforce (from production to sandbox).

The import queue tells me that the import was successful. But when I look under leads, I see nothing. Would love some help in figuring this out.
