How to change width of standard fields in "Opportunity" and "Products" object?

Question

I have a standard Opportunity Product page layout with muiltiple standard fields. Users have to scroll right and left to enter all the fields.

My requirement is to adjust the width of these standard fields (including picklists and numeric fields) so as to adjust within one screen.

I checked on the standard field definitions but am unable to change the field lengths. How do I acheive this?

Abhijeet,

The only way to do this would be to replace the Opportunity Product screen with a Visualforce page.
