Dim2Mea rounding to whole number and losing decimals

I'm trying to convert my Latitude and Longitude dimensions in EA so that I can use the measure in a Geo Map. however, whenever I transform the Dimension using Dim2Mea, it removes the decimal places, rounds the number up and ruins the latitude and longitude numbers. 

 

I've tried setting the field as a "Number" in the dataflow to no avail. Photo below for context.

    Hello Alistair,

     

    Even I'm noticing that the decimal places are lost when you convert Latitude & Longitude from a dimension to a measure. Another approach to this problem would be to set the field as a Measure when you upload the dataset itself.

     

    If you are creating this dataset from a CSV, then you can select the latitude & longitude to be a measure while creating the dataset. See below:
