Cannot relate emails to records using Lightning for Gmail in Salesforce.

I've got enhanced email enabled, and I've downloaded the chrome add-in.  It's showing in Gmail beautifully.  BUT, there's not the little 'relate' button next to a contact or account.... What am I missing?
