I created a sandbox and it has User X but X has never created a password. If I send him the Generate New Password email in production, will the password he creates allow him to log into the sandbox?
Or would I need to send the Generate New Password email from the sandbox?

Please send a new password reset link on the sandbox.
The production password will not reflect on sandbox if changed post refresh.
