User can't edit quote on his opportunity

Question

A user has created an opportunity on his account and the support team have added a quote. The user can't edit the quote because he has insufficient privileges. There isn't a sharing option on quotes, how do I get round this?

Hi Sara,   Please check if  the User(Opoortunity Owner) Profile has edit access on Quotes Object?   secondly do you use Price Books?

Go to Administer --> Manage Users --> Profiles --> Click on you user profile --> Then object settings and check that it has at least  Read  or   Read, Create, Edit  on the Quote object
