I would like to create a stacked bar chart of Goals vs Actuals in Dashboard using Opportunities. However, I do not want to create a "Goals" field in Opportunities. I'm thinking of creating a "goals" bucket and assigning goals to each region. Is that possible? If so, how do i assign the goals to each region?

How to add

or is there another way?

Thank you.

    Hi info@caremin.com ICM

In this post I explain it in a lot more detail =>

Basically a "Quota" or "Target" opprtunity (whatever you wanna call it) can be connected to an Account, like like a regular Sales Opportunity, but it does not have to be.  On my Quota Opportunity Page Layout I've made the Account field optional, so the Target can be attached to a specifc Account, or Product(s) or Sales Team, or all of those things (or none of those things).
