I currently have a drop-down field and I want to now make it a required field. How do I accomplish?

Hi Dave,
You can make the field required through Page Layout ot through fielld properties ot Validation rule.
1.Page Layout: Go to the Page Layout and hover over the field , click on setting and then check the "Required" checkbox.
2. Validation Rule: you can write the validation rule ISBLANK (field_name)
