No links sent with emails in Salesforce

I am using the Professional edition. When I send an email from a a specific Quote to an internal User, the link, (e.g. Quote number), affiliated with that Quote is not sent with the email. How can I get the link to that specific quote to automatically attach to the email?

Is the workflow from the quote object? You can't include merge fields from cross objects if this is what you're trying to do.
