I have a IF Function and Picklist formula query.
Here is my phrase:
IF Training (check box) has been selected and the subscription ("The Lot") (Picklist value)has been selected. The follwing phrase needs to be inserted into an email template : "Training $500".
IF Training (check box) has been selected and the subscription ("Animals" "Animals+""Land and environment) or all except the Lot) (Picklist value)has been selected. The follwing phrase needs to be inserted into an email template : Training $300

First you will want to create a text formula field to hold the results and be accessible in your email template.
Then the formula field should have the formula:
IF(Training__c,
IF(TEXT(Picklist__c) = "The Lot", "Training $500", "Training $300"),
""
)
Picklist__c will need to be replaced with the API name of your picklist field.
