How can I eliminate an extra space at the end of an an email address that appear when email is sent from an email template?

I have an email template that I use often that automatically inserts the recipient's email address in the body of the email. The template is set up as:

Your Email Address: {!Contact.Email}

When I select the template in order to send it to a certain Contact, it always inserts an extra space at the end of the email address. Is there a way to eliminate it?
