I found the cause of my problem just by addressing the questions in your
email. The code was being called from a trigger but the opportunities
were the result of a query and I had not included the new fields in the
query. I am surprised that this did not result in an error so you might
be able to explain that to me, otherwise I have been able to move forward
on my project. Thanks for responding!!
