Is there an Offline Version of SalesForce1 for IOS? We heard it was being released on May 1, 2016?

We heard an new offline version of SalesForce1 was being introduced on May 1st.  Did this happen?  Is it avaiable for IOS?

    Offline Edit for Salesforce1 for Android, version 9.0 is available to all customers through a public pilot program. Offline Edit isn't generally available unless or until Salesforce announces its general availability in documentation or in press releases or public statements. We can't guarantee general availability within any particular timeframe or at all. Make your purchase decisions only on the basis of generally available products and features.
