Hello-

We have a staff member out right now and she has a delegated approver in charge of approving for her. This particular approval process requires unanimous approval by two staff members. However, if one of them rejects the record and then re-submits for approval, the delegate approver finds that he cannot approve the re-submission.

Is this not possible with delegated approvers? He's finding it frustrating because he can't edit the record as a delegate approver, so he thought if he rejected it, he could edit it and then resubmit it. However, once he does that, he's unable to approve.

Let me know if this can be fixed. I just don't see any settings I can tweak-the approval process does have the setting that the delegate approver can approve. Beyond that I don't know what to do.

Thanks for your help!

Question - what happens if he rejects it and gets the originally submitter to edit the record and resubmit?

I think salesforce blocks you from approving your own records anyway.
