Create a lead from a web-application and/or email

I have an ASP.NET web application that currently collects information from a user and logs that info into a database.  I would also be able to create a leade in salesforce at the same time.

 

I saw the "web-to-lead" example, but that uses a post action and I would like to avoid rewriting my page.

 

Is it possible to create a salesforce lead using an email?

    Go to developer.force.com there are some nice and really easy to understand tutorials.Moreover, you can just search on google, i believe other users have written titorials as well.
