So I'm HORRIBLE at these formulas...Here's what I have so far that keeps giving me a syntax error of "Error: Syntax error. Missing ')' "

-------------------------------------

IF( !ISBLANK(Store_Location__c ) || !ISBLANK( Facility_Location__c) || !ISBLANK(Salon_Location__c),

IF(ISBLANK(Requested_Event_Date__c ) || ISBLANK(Event_Hours__c), true, false)

IF(AND(RECORD_TYPE__c <> US_Hair_Class, US_Hair_Non_Class), true,false))

, false)

--------------------------

The formula I'm TRYING to write says, if a salon, facility or store location is  populated, the Date & Hours must be provided. Unless, it's the above record types - then they are not required.

Is there a good cheat sheet on getting better at writing these? I'm good at the basic ones but some of these start doing my head in....  :/

Any help is appreciated!

    That is because your ID's aren't inside double quotes. Use this:

    AND(

    OR(

    NOT(ISBLANK(Store_Location__c )),

    NOT(ISBLANK(Facility_Location__c)),

    NOT(ISBLANK(Salon_Location__c))

    ),

    OR(

    ISBLANK( Requested_Event_Date__c ),

    ISBLANK( Event_Hours__c)

    ),

    RecordTypeId <> "012M00000000nw2",

    RecordTypeId <> "012M00000000nw7"

    )
