closing several activities at once

Having sent a mass-mailing with Vertical Response, the mailing activity is closed but still appears on my daily calendar as an open activity - I cant close 700 activities manually. Thanks for some hints.

    Peter,

     

    You can use data loader to mass update 'Status' to completed. First you need to download those activity, change Status to Completed and mass update into SFDC.
