How do I display my custom tab on my custom object. Both exist, hidden.

I made an object (AdminTracker) and chose to create its tab as part of the process. I even chose a color for the tab. But it does not show up in the + area for tabs. I can find it in setup > create > object, but I don't see how to make it display.
