We now have 2 Lead processes differentiated by Lead record type. I created a new Lead Process and updated the "default" Lead Status pick for the new record type, however, the actual Lead Status field default appears to override the Lead Process default, which is really odd since the new Lead Process doesn't include the original Lead Status default pick.  Is there a way to remove the Lead Status default pick from the Lead Status field, or how can I get the new Lead Process default status to override the field default?

    Hello Shilo,

     

    I tried to replicate your scenario and created two different Lead Processes and associated Record Types. There is an option while creating Lead Processes to select the default for each process which auto populates the value in Lead Status Field when we create the record.
