In my company, we use the Gmail integration.

For Activities, we do not use the standard "Type" field but a custom field.

Indeed, as it is not possible to create a dependancy on standard fields, this solution was chosen.

Nevertheless, how can we customize the "Log Email" and "Log Event" windows in Gmail and Google Calendar (which is different from "New Event")?

For "Create" > "New Event", it is fine. We can customize the Global Actions in the Salesforce setup.

I understand the email application panes, but it seems those don't allow me to customize the Event/Task record data - only to which records the Event/Task will be related to.
