Cross object formulas are built on the child object (in a parent/child relationship) and simply display field data from the parent, on the child. Because they are formula fields, they are ready only. https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=customize_cross_object.htm&type=5

Lookup fields create a loose relationship between two records. They are also built on the child. In contrast, users can edit lookup fields and search for a record to associate. Lookup fields also appear in the interface as a clickable field that navigates you to the associated record. https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=custom_field_types.htm&type=5

Rollup summary fields are build on the master (parent) in a Master-Detail (tight relationship). They can also be created on a select list of standard related objects (see link). Rollup summary fields calculate values from related child records. https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=fields_about_roll_up_summary_fields.htm&type=5
