
Should users be concerned about turning on Lightning Experience before verifying lightning readiness?

@Joe Finfer, start by previewing how your org works in Lightning Experience "out of the box". You can even preview things without turning on Lightning Experience -- check out the Preview feature in the Transition Assistant: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=lex_preview.htm .
Hopefully things good and you can feel confident about giving users access right away.
Even if it's not perfect out of the box, it can be a useful exercise to give some users access to early on. These users can give you feedback on what's good as-is and what needs work. This data helps you plan and prioritize with confidence.
