I keep reading about the option to re-parent child records in a master detail relationship. Is this something you would do when a contact moves to a different account? Are there other examples of when this would be done?

Given: Job Position Object as a master and Interview object as a detail. Use case: a user created an interview record for the wrong Job position. Solution: allow re-parenting to move the Interview record to the proper Job Position
